Ted Annenberg, L.AC.
Ted Annenberg graduated from the Nakazono Kotatoma Institute in 1983, where he developed a deep respect for the study and application of traditional Japanese approaches to healing. He has been practicing and studying traditional Oriental medicine for over thirty years, applying Japanese style traditional acupuncture and moxibustion therapy (日本の伝統鍼灸) with a no-nonsense pragmatism, through the use of ideas and techniques which have been found to be consistently effective in the clinic. He has has travelled and studied in Japan regularly since 1983 and continues to study with senior Japanese teachers as well as participating in regular trainings in the U.S.
Mr. Annenberg has trained extensively in Japanese-style acupuncture as taught by Masahilo Nakazono (Jingei Myakukai), Yoshio Manaka (Shinkyu Topology Gakubukai), Denmai Shudo and Masakazu Ikeda (Keiraku Chiryo Gakkai), in addition to the Meridian Therapy school of Kodo Fukushima (Toyohari Igakukai). He has recently begun exploring and incorporating the Shakuju approach of Shoji Kobayashi into his practice.
