Ted Annenberg
Ted Annenberg has engaged in full time private practice in the State of Maryland since 1982. A pioneer in the field of complementary medicine, his treatment approach involves the unique application of a highly personalized style of somatically oriented acupuncture intervention developed through decades of study and clinical application of both classical and neoclassical styles of acupuncture, including both traditional Chinese as well as Contemporary French and Japanese Meridian Therapy.
His post graduate training includes extensive study and applied research in the field of functional, musculoskeletal and surface anatomy as well as pain neurophysiology. Blending a background in Western scientific inquiry followed by a lengthy apprenticeship in Japanese, European and Novel Chinese styles of traditional acupuncture. It is precisely this holistic approach that provides help for patients with the most complex issues. Often, by seeing the patient's problem from this broader perspective, very difficult cases are able to be resolved quickly and with more complete tissue repair than traditional forms of physical medicine.
Over a period of nearly three decades, he has provided safe and effective acupuncture services amounting to more than sixty thousand hours of clinical practice while addressing the needs of more than 6,000 patients, many of whom had failed to improve after undergoing more conventional therapies have benefited from his inclusion and masterful use of a wide range of acupuncture styles designed to meet the complex needs of the contemporary patient.
